TCS is the second largest Indian company by market capitalisation as of October 2020, and the only company ahead of TCS is Reliance Industries.

TCS plans to purchase of 5.33 crore shares at ₹3,000 per equity share for an aggregate amount not exceeding ₹16,000 crores. Recently Wipro has also announced its Buyback worth Rs. 9,500 crores.
